Okay, so I added a command line options to my desktop link for Firefox, specifically I added -new-window to the end of the target field. Target: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -new-window It works fine when on the desktop. However, when I moved the link to my Nexus Dock the link will only open the existing Firefox browser window instead of opening a new widow. There doesn't seem to be a target field in the properties or dock entry properties windows for the link once moved to the dock. Is there no way to add command line options to links on the dock? I'm running Nexus Ultimate on Windows 10 Home Edition. |

Give this a try. First, right-click the icon in the dock and choose Dock Entry Properties. See the first screenshot below. Then, add Code: -new-window to the Arguments field. See the second screenshot below. |

It's a good idea. Unfortunately, it didn't work. I'm starting to think that maybe it just isn't possible, which is a pain because then having a link to the browser on the dock is - for me - more of less pointless. Sigh. |

Oh, I understand now what the problem is. You can either a) Disable the 'Do not launch multiple sessions of the same application' setting in the Behavior tab of that dock's Properties dialog (but note that this setting is global and will then apply to all docks and objects) OR b) Press the SHIFT key when clicking the shortcut in the dock (or double click the shortcut instead). The former is how the Windows Taskbar deals with this issue too. |

winstep wrote: Disable the 'Do not launch multiple sessions of the same application' setting in the Behavior tab of that dock's Properties dialog Perfect! I hadn't even realized that that was there in the behaviors tab. Now the link does exactly what I want. Thank you! |
