| Post subject: | The dock has disappeared!!! |
The winstep.exe program runs, the program hides my windows bar, but the dock doesn't appear. I tried to uninstall and re install the Nexus Ultimate and the closing of the exxecutable from the task manager, but Winstep continues without showing the dock! Can anibody help me?! |

Use CTRL-F11 to bring up the Docks and Shelves Preferences window. (CTRL-F11 is the default. You may have changed it, though.) Then Preferences window starts on the "About" tab. Switch to the "Docks & Shelves" tab. You may have a list of Docks and/or Shelves. Each has their own "Enabled" checkbox. Make sure the Dock you want is checked as Enabled and then click OK. Did that help? |

Thanks Desertdworf for your kindly help. But the Preferencies window tht appears do not include a "Docs & Shelves" tab. The list of tabs is: Content, Modules, Position, Behaviour Appearance, Effects, Themes, Sounds, Tasks, General, Advanced & About. Could you continue helping me? |

If you take a screenshot of that window (with the window active, press Alt-PrintScreen), upload it to a place like imgur.com (you don't even need account, effectively making it anonymous), then you can paste the resulting URL here in a reply. imgur.com's "New Post" lets you paste an image directly onto their site. We'll try to figure this out until Jorge gets back.

He is running the free version of Nexus, Ric, which is why he doesn't have that tab in Preferences. Eracongo, you must have changed something that made the dock invisible, located somewhere you don't expect or something like that. Open Preferences, go to the Advanced tab, and click the Backup button to make a backup of the current settings. Now click the Troubleshooting Options button and then the 'Reset Settings Only' to see if that brings your dock back - this will only reset the settings, it will not delete the contents of your dock. |
