Although I always try to make each new version of Winstep Xtreme 100% backwards compatible, I don't think I have ever tried such a large jump of versions.

Hi Jorge, I'm using Winstep Xtreme 12.2.061 on my computer. I`m happy with this old version. But now I changed from win 7 to win 10 and I forget to backup my winstep setupfile. Possibly it's time for a new Winstep Xtreme version. Two questions: Am I still be entitled to get the update price. And: I backuped my Winstep Xtreme settings. Hi Petra! Once a Winstep customer, always a Winstep customer, so yes, you are still entitled to the upgrade price. Send me an email to Winstep support mentioning this thread please. Also, restoring settings from such an old version *should* work, but right after restoring I would exit Winstep Xtreme and restart it immediately so it can bring any changed settings up-to-date. |
