Hello!

So I have a question about where I can edit the position of sub-docks once they expand.

I mean this in the sense that currently, they expand too high above the original dock. I want to be able to lower the position to match what I am trying to do.

(It's an OCD thing, I can't help myself)

I presume there is a file that has these settings somewhere and it will just be the case of changing numbers, but I can't find that file.

Any help will be appreciated greatly!

Have you tried different themes? Sub-docks are positioned automatically according to certain settings and criteria.

Anyway, if you could provide a screenshot so I understand what you mean by 'too high above the original dock' it would be nice.

Also, check out the settings in Dock Properties -> Behavior tab -> Sub-Docks button -> Sub-Docks dialog.

This dialog has some settings that by their nature will also determine where and how sub-docks open.

Just want to lower the expanded sub dock that's all.
Thanks for your help!

The distance also depends on the dock's background. You have your dock's background set to be fully transparent, so make it temporarily visible and select a different background with smaller outer margins.
