How can I stop my browser from launching and going to Winstep's website when I press F1

First things first: does this happen if you click on a, say, Notepad window and press F1 (i.e.; when something OTHER than the Winstep application has the focus)?

If it does NOT happen (i.e.; it only happens when the Winstep application has the focus) then it's kind of by design, since F1 was universally accepted as the Help key since God knows when. Without looking, I don't think you can turn that feature off.

If on the other hand it STILL invokes your browser, does it still happen if you exit Winstep and THEN press F1? If NOT then you must have assigned F1 as a hotkey to either an icon (to your browser) in a dock/shelf or to a NextSTART hotspot.

Problem is that you will now have to look at the Properties page of each of the suspected items until you find your culprit.

Yes it only happens when When Winstep is the focus. Makes sense now. Thanks
