I purchased Nexus Ultimate but when trying to display tray icons and selecting the "group" option, it doesn't group. I've tried restarting Nexus and Windows, I've tried different docks, it just doesn't seem to work. They are all displayed individually like other icons in the dock, except the icons are a little smaller.

I'm confused. Tray icons don't group. Or are you referring to Tasklist Grouping, like the picture below?

No, I'm referring to the tray icons. As in "show system tray icons in this dock." Tray icons. Not tasklist. I don't know what that is.

I figured it out. You're talking about the Dock's view of the tray icons. My mistake.

So, let me show you what I have. In the normal tray area, I have these icons (the "expand hidden tray area", the network, and the volume icons):



In my Dock, if I have Show system tray in this dock turned on and the Group system tray icons turned off, I see this (the blue circle with the curved arrow is the icon I would click to expand the grouped icons):



But when I turn on Group system tray icons, I see this:



It's weird that the network and volume tray icons only change size and don't disappear altogether. Seems like maybe a bug Jorge should fix.

Also, if I have Always show all system tray icons turned on, it won't do any grouping because that overrides the group option.

Oh, wait. I understand the icon size change. If I had more icons not hidden in the expandable area but instead out by the network and volume icons, it would shrink and cluster together all of those icons. In appearance, it would look like the Always show all system tray icons, but still allowing you to have some of them hidden behind that curved arrow.
