When launching an exe from the Main Grid Stack, the stack will close.

When you have "Open Folders as Grid Stacks" turned on for that Grid Stack, and you then launch an exe from a secondary Grid Stack, the secondary stack will close, however the Main Grid Stack does not close.

I think this behavior is by design. The main grid stack will/should also close as soon as you click on the Notepad window (or anywhere outside the Winstep application).

By design? You designed it! lol What about when as soon as one launches an application (from within a secondary stack)?

Yes, it means it's on purpose silly! lol

Thing is, this allows much more flexibility than collapsing/closing all the way down to the root stack. Imagine you want to launch multiple files and these are multi-level deep on the grid stack - if it did things the way you want it this would mean having to re-open multiple stack levels for each file. PITA.

As it is a single click outside the Winstep application will dismiss them all.
