I've searched and can't find anything on this topic. I'm sure it's been asked but it's not easy to find on the forums.

When I click the volume icon in the systray, it displays off screen and is 100% not usable. Same thing happens with the network icon, or ANY icon that is a windows 10 style popup menu. How can I fix this? I don't want to stop using this program because it's great, but this is super annoying!

Can you please post the same screenshot but this time showing the whole screen so that I can visualize how things are positioned there?

Anything, that behavior does not happen here and nobody else seems to be complaining either. What version of Windows 10 are you running? What is your screen DPI? Do you run more than one monitor?

Sure thing boss. Here's the screenshot https://i.imgur.com/76u8kKG.png

I use 2 monitors, one 3440x1440, the other 2560x1440. Win 10 v2004 build 19041.450. Never messed with DPI or scaling options.

Ok, finally got the 2004 Windows 10 update to install here.

Looks like Microsoft changed something (again) with the systray pop ups, and they are no longer appearing where they should.

The good news is that now that I am able to reproduce it here I should also be able to fix it (fingers crossed).

Ok, fixed for next release. As I suspected, Microsoft changed the default dimensions in which these tray pop ups were initially created.

This was fixed two days ago and Jorge hasn't released an update yet. If you'll wait for the update, it should be fixed for you, too.

I'll be waiting for update also. Your reported problem continues to happen to me as well with most system tray icons. The WiFi menu also opens below the system tray and cuts off the whole menu or isn't visible. Happens mostly with the volume/speaker, WiFi, and battery icons which are the furthest to the right of my tray.

Any idea when the update will be released as i am experiencing the exact same thing. Not sure what went wrong . . just 2 days ago everything worked correctly. But like you mentioned, i recently updated my windows 10. Maybe that is the issue !

Sorry guys. In version 2004 of Windows 10 Microsoft changed something in the way system tray pop ups were originally displayed that caused them to be moved off-screen by the Winstep application.

Anyway, v20.10 has just been officially released and it fixes this issue.

Apology is not required, when it's an MS issue.
Thanks for your hard work and a great bit of software.
:D

Well, to be absolutely fair this was not an issue per se, Microsoft just changed something in the way pop ups first appeared and that change ended up breaking the method used to relocate same pop ups to a new position on the screen.
