The dialogue box requesting authorisation of a certificate is not generated from the Winstep website. It is in fact generated by your Windows operating system and it seems to suggest that something might be awry with your browser or your OS.

Ok, i will report this to microsoft,
but for more details, is your site use Asp.Net Core,
because if that true, this means, there is a cross system CA issue,

so, this bug must reported, as soon as possible ,
so please, if you use Asp.Net core, mention that here,
and i will report it to microsoft, and .NetCore team,
so thay my contanct you, to figure the issue.

I don't think this site uses .asp, however, I can't be sure. This question can probably only be answered by Jorge, the site admin, owner, and programmer of Winstep, as and when he returns.

As for your other query, this is really up to DesertDwarf to follow up, but I'll try and look into it next time I boot up Windows if I get a chance. (I am currently, as most of the time for quite some time, in Linux.)

I just looked up a couple of pages of the Winstep site, and indeed, it is constructed with .asp after all (though not the forum).
