I can't think of anything that could cause Nexus docks to start up from sleep and being out of their normal alignment. However, there are a lot of weird things that can and do happen to third party apps when Windows wakes up from sleep mode. Unfortunately, there is nothing that third party apps, including Winstep apps, can do about this - complain to Microsoft, not that it will achieve anything....
By the way, 17.01 is a pretty old version by now and there have been many changes since then - and multiple docks were not even available under 17.01! So either you are running a later version, or you can't have multiple docks. So which is it?
