Hi Folks,
I am using Xtreme, but cannot locate any settings for the taskbar and start menus?

I can access the organizer and NextSTART is running in the task-manager.

I've searched and can find numerous references to go to the Taskbar tab. But, I don't have one in preferences.
Getting into preferences via right click on workshelf.
Prefs Tabs: Docks & Shelves, Modules, Themes, Sounds, Tasks, Tray, General, Advanced, About.

I'm running Win 11. (22471.1000)
Xtreme v: 20.10

Workshelf is working fine.

I've even gone nuclear and reset all settings.
And reinstalled.

I feel as though I'm missing blindingly obvious?
Whatever I do, I cannot find settings to activate the taskbar/Start menu.

Please help.

You're looking in the wrong 'Preferences', you need the NextSTART 'Preferences'.

Winstep by default sets up a NextSTART taskbar and start menu during installation. The default for the taskbar is bottom edge, but it may be hidden - try mouse-bumping the bottom edge, or each corner in turn. There also should be a NextSTART (and Workshelf) icon in your system tray (in the Win sys tray) - the NextSTART icon should bring up the 'Preferences' for that app.

What Nexter said. Also, at any time (unless you deliberately changed that in Preferences):

CTRL+F11 - Opens WorkShelf Preferences.
CTRL+F12 - Opens NextSTART Preferences.

I've had a look and the hotspot for the menu was in the top left and I've now found the correct preferences.
As for the hotkeys, unfortunately I use Autohotkey and they are already taken.
But I know now.

You can also access Preferences from the NextSTART and WorkShelf system tray (also known as "notification area") icons.
