I know I'm acting like a noob here. I guess my aging brain is telling on me.

I can't seem to find a way to use any tiles as dock backgrounds. You know, like those discs that lean to one side? I see them on the products page in screenshots, can't make it happen. Help?

You mean make a dock theme that uses tiles OR use a dock theme based on tiles?

If the latter, you will have to use the Themes tab specific for each dock: open the Dock Properties dialog (right click or double click the Nexus control icon), navigate to the Themes tab, and change the combo box at the top left from "Themes" to "Tiles".

Ok, that worked, only, there are no tiles other than the classic tiles. Squares, no discs or anything else.

AARRRGGGHHHH!!!

LOL, ok, the classic tiles worked. Then I downloaded a bunch of Object Dock tiles and now none work. Not even the classic tiles that come with Winstep. I am on Windows 11.

Ok, apparently I can create a new dock and use tiles, but I can't seem to change a zoomer to tiles. And I can't seem to change the tile background on a dock that is already tiles.

Probably Windows 11, I'm not sure. Now I have another issue. One person who downloaded my new skin, Dark Rogue, is having an issue with the calendar coming up blanks. He is just using Nexus Ult.

I have no idea. But I think he has both Nexus Ult. and Winstep Xtreme installed. He had double workshelves too, at startup. I think he has both running at the same time.

Not sure what is up with the calendar.

He is using older versions of both.

He just updated to 20.10 Nexus and still any skinned calendar is blank. Unskinned is fine. Help?

Can you ask him for more details? It might be an issue with the skin itself. There are other themes where the calendar module is also skinned, ask him to try those to see if the same thing happens. Also, a screenshot of the issue would be nice.

He has tried that. All skinned calendars come up blank. Has the module background, but just no numbers, etc. Themes with calendars unskinned (default) work correctly.

He has uninstalled Winstep Xtreme, was outdated anyway. He uses Nexus Ultimate. 20.10

I think he's on windows 10.

The skin itself works fine on multiple PCs of mine, and other downloaders have no issues so far. Would you like a copy of the skin?

Well, must be something specific to HIS system or configuration. But what?

These cases are very difficult to diagnose, as they cannot usually be reproduced elsewhere. The user himself must play with the settings to try and figure out what might be causing it.

He should perhaps create an account here and get directly involved in this discussion, to start with. :D

Well it seems he fixed it by upgrading Winstep Xtreme to the latest version. Thanks, Jorge! He will purchase a renewal probably soon. His has expired. He is the one my latest Winstep was requested by.
