Hi everyone, I wanted to buy a license but I don't know which one to buy I wanted to buy either Nexus Ultimate or Winstep Xtreme. But I wanted to understand how it works with the license? do i have to pay annually to use the program? i wanted to buy a lifetime license is it possible? A thousand thanks. |

This is not software rental, you DO NOT have to pay every year. This said, there are also NO "free upgrades for life" licenses. The Winstep Xtreme Upgrade Policy FAQ should answer all your questions regarding this issue (the rules are the same for Nexus Ultimate). Has for which version to buy, please read this Product Comparison Page. |

where can i find skins for Grid Stacks? I don't like the default ones. I wanted to figure out some skins I can insert. Grazie |

This said, just like you can apply a different theme to each shelf, dock and drawer, you can do the same for GridStacks: Right click the Grid Stack icon -> Grid Stack Properties -> Themes tab. As Nexter said, however, you can only choose between available/installed Winstep/shelf themes. You might also want to read this Themes Tutorial. |

I have Winstep Xtreme 20.10 and Windows 11 Pro. Shelfs, drawers, and docks work fine for the most part. I have a very complex shelf using several gridstacks to sub group programs. I have two gridstacks that have failed, but I believe that it was due to the upgrade to Windows 11 because both were in my Utilities tab and referenced windows utilities not in the control panel and none of the others have had any problem except losing a custom icon after a program update for the target program. I have not tested Start Menu Organizer, but I suspect that it will have compatibility problems since there was a MAJOR redesign of the Windows 11 start menu. (not the best feature of Windows 11) As to you comment about not liking the appearance of the gridstack. Be aware you can change the Icon for each individual grid stack, just as you can for the program apps or documents you add. |
