How to open preferences / main dialogue

I'm using NextStart to create a custom menu only. I have the tray icon turned off, so that only the menu is visible. How do you suggest getting to the preferences or program main window? Right clicking in my custom menu does not offer the preferences choice.

I was able to go to the Registry and change the program system tray option to enabled, which solved my issue, but there has got to be a better way or do you just suggest to keep the tray icon enabled?

CTRL+F12

Also, double clicking the top edge of your NextSTART menu (where the titlebar would be if the menu had a titlebar) should also open Preferences.
