I usually have my cmd prompt set with black background and my powershell prompt set to blue background so I don't forget which one I am using. If I open powershell by left clicking on the shortcut in Nexus, I will get a black background. If I open it by right clicking and select open from the context, the prompt will have the correct blue background. Is there a setting I have not found? Thanks in advance. |

I had a look at the code to determine why that might be so, but you need to be aware that this part relates to code that was mostly written decades ago (and not necessarily properly commented back then). In both cases Nexus uses the SAME routine to execute the application, but there MIGHT be a difference between launching the application directly via left click and via the context menu IF the target is a shortcut (.lnk file) instead of pointing to the application itself. Can you please post a screenshot of the Dock Item Properties dialog for that PowerShell item in your dock? Also, since this might have an influence as well, in the Behavior tab for that dock, is 'Do not launch multiple sessions of the same application' enabled? |

Yes, it is via a shortcut. I don't know any other way to change colour ect. on the prompt. I tried to uncheck "Do not launch multiple sessions of the same application" and it makes no diff.
