| Post subject: | Nexus running in background but no toolbar |
As of this Wednesday April 27, 2022, my Nexus toolbar vanished. Nexus does load and the taskbar manager shows it is running in Win 11, but no toolbar. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but, alas, no toolbar. What to do? Thanks for any input BTW, I have Kaspersky Antivirus, but it is NOT blocking Nexus. |

Are you sure it's not auto-hiding at the screen edge? Pressing CTRL+F11 should open Nexus Preferences. What happens when you do that (or right click the Nexus systray icon, assuming you didn't turn that off, and select 'Preferences' from the context menu that pops up) ? Assuming Preferences DOES open, then Nexus is not unresponsive. Check out what changes you might have made to it to render it fully transparent or whatever is causing it to not be visible on your desktop. If nothing happens when you try to open Preferences, on the other hand, then you need to figure out what changed in your system the day Nexus disappeared (but I still think it's a simple mis-configuration problem). |
