If you right-click on an app in the windows taskbar (not nexus) - there is an option "Run as Administrator".

Is there this option in the Nexus Taskbar?

What am I missing? Started a couple days ago with Nexus and this is a basic feature to me.

Thank you.

PS: searched the forum for the word "administrator", but the results are not relevant.

You need to set "Show full right click context menu options" to "Always" in the Behavior tab of Nexus Preferences (or that dock's Properties panel if you are running Ultimate or Xtreme) - this should bring back the 'Run as Administrator' option in the right click context menu. "Always" is the default setting, but my guess is that you changed it to "Never".

Another option (but more permanent) is to open the Dock Entry Properties dialog for that item and enable the 'Run as Administrator' setting.

UNLESS, of course, this is specific to UWP apps, but, as far as I know, you cannot run UWP Apps with elevated privileges.

❤️

thanks a lot, it worked.

As a side note there is a search function for all settings in many other apps.

Maybe this could be considered as an idea / improvement simplifying the search for a correct setting.
