Hi,
New user here I'm trying to remove if possible, the icons that precede the entries in Nextstart menus. I've had a look in the menu editor, read through the FAQ's provided and did a search here in the forum but don't see a way to have the icons not show?

If you'd explored the various settings in Nextstart Preferences, you'd have found a setting to enable (or disable) icons - can't tell you exactly where as can't access due to being on Linux ATM. Just try again.

Actually, other than switching to a theme that features no icons in the menus I don't think you can do that... but it wouldn't be a difficult option to implement in the future, I think.

Ah, heck, sorry, you're right Jorge, I just remembered - we don't have it. It's set by the theme! (Most of mine don't use the icons, but some do, as I recall.)

Yeah, definitely would be nice to have this as a user option too, to over-ride the themes settings.

You might like to know that I just added a 'Never Show Icons in Menus' setting to the misc.section of the Advanced Menu dialog. When set it prevents NextSTART menus from showing icons even if the theme allows it.

Turns out this guy copied some text from a 2016 post by another user here in the forums. Then he came back on the first of October, edited his message and added links to porn sites. Luckily I revisited this topic and caught him.
