I have used DellDock for years since I normally buy Dells. One thing I do not like about Nexus is the way to add programs, having to drill down to the programs folders. DellDock lets you grab and icon on your desk top and just place it on the main bar or sub group, selecting an new icon and name if you wish. So it is easy to add programs.

Thought this would be a nice feature.

Not sure why you think this cannot be done in Nexus. The dock supports FULL drag & drop, so you can simply drag items from a folder to it (and vice-versa, if the item in the dock is a file or file system object).

If you are running Windows 11 and you are trying to drag & drop an App directly from the 'Pinned' section of the Windows 11 Start Menu, that doesn't work (try asking Microsoft why not). You need to click the 'All Apps' button and drag from there.

Also and for future information: you do not need to painstakingly customize your icons in the dock by right clicking the item, going to Item Properties, etc. Just open the folder containing your favorite icons (.ICO, .PNG and .TIF formats ONLY) and quickly drag & drop them directly to the item in the dock you want to apply that image to. Much much faster and a lot easier.

Hi Jorge,

I just added an icon from the Nexus menu, assumed it was the only way.

I assume only shortcuts can be added. I'll give it a try.

Thanks

Ted
