Hello,

I'm using WinStep Nexus Dock Free on my secondary monitor, attached to the right side.

I have an issue with the option "Prevent maximized windows from overlapping the dock": It works good at the start, but if I disconnect my two monitors from the current (for a while, to save energy, but the windows session does not get locked) and then I'm leaving my pc powered up; After a while I turn them back on, and then this option stops working, (if I maximize any window, it completely covers the dock as if the option was not selected).

The only thing I can do to fix it is to close the dock application, and restart it again, ... That's so unconvenient.

Thanks in advance !

What version of Windows are you running? What version of Nexus?

Well, disconnecting BOTH monitors is a bit extreme, not even sure in that case what messages are broadcasted by Windows to the applications and in what order. It can happen that Windows internally destroys the appbars responsible for reserving the screen areas but does not notify the application.

What I did because of issues like this was to add a 'Reset Reserved Screen Space' internal command (IC) for next version, but that means you will have to wait a bit until it is released.

A lot more convenient than restarting the application, you add that IC to the dock and if the reserve screen space function goes haywire you just click the icon for instant relief.
