Problem 1:

Affected: Workshelf Gridstack with nested folders.

OS: Win11 22H2

Symptom: Once you launch a program from a nested folder, the dock will remain open unless manually minimize the main gridstack.

Problem 2:

Affected: Workshelf when dock set over the windows taskbar.

OS: Win11 22H2

This problem started to happen recently (last 3 windows updates or so, I'm in the beta channel), I suspect Microsoft made some changes on the taskbar Z order.

I never had any issues with this for over 3 years.

I'm using StartAllBack but I tested the issue with the default Win 11 taskbar and the issue remains.

Symptom: Under certain circumstances, for example after opening the Start window, the Workshelf dock ends behind the taskbar.

I know one solution is not to dock it over the taskbar but in my multi monitor setup that is the best place. Any other edge will be a problem for me to use.

I have uploaded two videos for you:

Actually. Scratch problem 2.

I just realized it happens with other software in the tray area. It must be a problem with Windows.

Windows 11 is a HUGE buggy mess and it's not getting better, it's getting worse, much worse.

They've made changes to stuff that had been working fine for decades and they managed to break it all. Then they take MONTHS to fix what they broke, if they bother at all. I wish I could have stayed on Windows 10, frankly.

As for the first problem, I see what you mean.
