I finally got back in to using winstep since 2012 (i had used frmo '99 till then !).

Love it!

I have my desktop icons hidden by WSX, but have seen when my computer monitor wakes up, the desktop icons are visible... is there a setting to deal with this?

HA! figured it out. Fences (stardock) was messing things up. uninstalled fences and all good.

Glad you figured it out because it wasn't happening here. Always good to know the cause as well, for future reference. :D
