 Post subject: non-responsive if clicked at edge of icon

Nexus.exe 22.07.1179, everything current:

Noticed occasionally that clicking an icon would not launch and felt weird.

Did some analysis, discovered that clicking the left or rightmost edge of an icon at the very last edge pixel would cause the mousedown/mouseup animation to fire, but no icon launch and the visual effect applied to the icon does not fire. I reduced horizontal spacing to the lowest amount and it did not help.

I said the bug was dumb, not you. Abuse? Chill. Fix your code and thank users who report problems with detailed information. This clearly is not a desired feature of the software and makes no sense from a GUI point of view. It should not animate if it does not intend to launch the app.
