when the undocked dock is collapsed, a big nexus icon shows up, is there any way to get rid of this? Opening the dock back up again isn't a concern, I have an edge bump set up which works perfectly fine. Any way to permentantly disable the dock control icon, even if I have to mess around on my end?

A floating dock cannot have the control icon disabled, it is the only means by which to collapse and expand the dock.
