I'm on Win11 (previously on Win10 I did not recognise this):
Especially when running ExtendScripts (in Adobe applications) the cpu meter shows 0 - 3%, while in the task manager the display of cpu use is > 15% (see attached screen shot).
► What may be the reason for this?

Send that report to Microsoft please. They completely broke the CPU utilization API with Windows 11 22H2 and this affects ALL 3rd party programs reporting per-process CPU usage.

You can see this with your own eyes since it even affects the Windows Task Manager itself (!): go to the Details tab of Task Manager and notice that the same exact CPU under-utilization is reported there.

Not sure what Microsoft has been doing to Windows lately, but they sure are breaking a LOT of things that had been working fine for DECADES (and given how long 22H2 has been out they don't seem very interested in fixing them either).

One thing though: if you install the v23.7 beta, the settings for the CPU meter module have a new 'Use Legacy Mode' option. If you are running the beta, make sure that option is NOT checked and you will see the same ***total*** CPU utilization as reported in Task Manager.

This said, the way Task Manager is now reporting total CPU usage is considered wrong/pretty much meaningless by many experts.
