Required permissions in Beta discussion forum

I'm encountering an issue while attempting to log into the beta discussion forum, and I receive the following notification:

"You do not have the required permissions to read topics within this forum."

I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide me with.

Should have checked from the start - invisible spam in post was there from the beginning! So you can safely add the email address to StopForumSpam, Jorge.

Doh. Should have checked as well. Anyway, user account deleted and banned, going to leave the post up though.

At least one more spam user a/c deleted.

Alas, there are hundreds more still not deleted, often with spam also in profile and/or sig.

As an aside, in spite of this thread, somebody else new couldn't be arsed to go through a bit of the forum at least and went straight ahead requesting admission to the Beta forum since!
