Hello, I wanted to update Nexus, test it, but curiously impossible to make this application understand the choice of dock on the screen. I have three screens in Display Port. If I want to put it on the 2 he puts on 3, if I want to put on one he puts on 3 !!!! I tried to modify the connection of the screens, nothing to do,
same problem. I told myself that it could be interesting to try other docks including that of Stardock and the very old Rocket Dock. The two had no problem on any of the screens. I tried to activate or deactivate the multi screen is the same.

Is the version you are using older than v25.6?

Open Preferences. In the About tab, what is the version number displayed in the top right corner?

If you are running anything older than v25.6 (and I think you are) you will have issues if the screen DPI of your monitors (scaling) is not the same for all of them (i.e. all 100% or all 125%).

Versions previous to v25.6 were high DPI compatible but they were not *per-monitor* high DPI compatible. As such Windows would literally lie to them about screen resolutions etc when using monitors with different DPIs, normally resulting in the type of issues you are experiencing.

*Per-monitor* high DPI support was finally added in v25.6 (and it was something very work-intensive to add, nearly all the code base had to be revised). So you need to either upgrade to the latest version of set all your monitors to have the same screen DPI.

The reason RocketDock and OD did not appear to experience any issues is because they aren't even high DPI compatible (so the dock gets automatically magnified by Windows on anything other than 100% DPI, for instance, which normally also results in blurred icons, etc)

Salutations.

[EDIT] Translation to English:

Hello, I installed version 25.6 at the same time I submitted this request to see if the issue had been resolved. My three screens, which are strictly identical, all have the same resolution and are set to 100%. Fortunately, because I need them to look visually identical. Regarding OD and Rocket, I don’t notice any visibility issues—the icons are all sharp. It’s a shame, because Nexus is far superior. But since the setup I need requires the dock to be at the top of the second screen, I had to give up on it. Best regards.

Oh wait, it seems I *might* have completely misunderstood what you were complaining about. Where are you getting those monitor numbers from?

If I am right about what I am thinking, your only problem seems to be a simple discrepancy in how monitors are numbered between Windows and the Winstep application.

Under Winstep the monitors are numbered in a logical way, top to bottom, left to right, according to their position in the screen space. Windows assigns monitor numbers in Display Settings based on how it detects and initializes them during startup—not necessarily by physical position or connection order.

So, if your primary monitor is in the center with one secondary at the left and the other secondary at the right, monitor #1 in the Winstep application is the leftmost monitor, monitor #2 the center primary monitor and monitor #3 the other secondary monitor.

Windows might be numbering those in a completely different sequence. Is this really your problem?! A different numbering scheme?!
