Can't change themes

I downloaded NextStep a couple of weeks ago, experimented with themes, found something I liked and then registered.
Today, i thought I'd try a different theme - but I can't!
I go to the Themes tab in NextStart preferences, but whatever theme I choose, when i click on 'Preview' or 'OK', absolutely nothing happens.
The theme picker box just goes back to highlighting the current theme and nothing changes.
Presumably I'm doing something silly, but what???

Something silly but absolutely understandable. Rest assured you are not the only one. :-)

Try clicking on the Diskette button instead or double clicking the theme name.

UPDATE:

This was such a common mistake - and probably so frustrating for first time users - that I ended up going with the flow and added this functionality. From NextSTART v3.4 and WorkSHelf v1.90 on, you can select a theme in the Themes Management tab in Preferences and apply it by clicking either the Preview or OK buttons at the bottom.
