I'm coming back to Winstep after some time (better system tray support, btw) using Winstep 8.2 and everything seems ok, except every time I minimize Winamp 5.51 it disappears completely from the taskbar - not crashing or anything, but the tashbar button is gone - and I did not exclude it in any way?

Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance..!

Don't you have it set to minimize to the systray? Doesn't this behavior happen with the normal Windows taskbar as well?

If the answer to the above questions is no, right click on a task button (any task button) and select 'Customize Tasks' from the context menu. See if WinAmp.exe or the title of the WinAmp window is listed in the Task Exclusion List (doubt it, since the action here is actually the opposite, i.e.; show a task button only when the window is minimized).

Nevermind - I had a 3rd party control plugin for winamp that works from the system tray (but which I never use). Got rid of that and everything is perfect.

Gotta say I'm lovin this newer version of winstep, esp. nextstart. Fantastic work:)
