Greetings,

I run Workshelf/Nexus on my laptop. Only Nexus and the desktop modules are visible. I have a docking station with a monitor attached that I use for a dual monitor setup. Laptop has a resolution of 1600x1050 and the monitor is 1280x1024. The monitor is the primary display when I'm docked.
Problem: As I dock and undock, the desktop modules do not reposition themselves to the screen edge they stick to the 1600x1050 position. Auto arrange aligns them across the screen not down the edge. Saving the position doesn't help because I need 2 positions. I've tried locking and not locking. Nothing works and it's really really irritation to have to manually move around.

Any ideas on how to get the modules to always stay "docked" to a screen edge regardless of resolution?

I think a solution would be to extend the 'automatic position save/load' concept so that it responds to changing screen resolutions as well as changing themes...?

I'll see what I can do for the next upcoming release. :D

I think that would work.

Ok, done. :D

WorkShelf now remembers module positions for each theme AND screen resolution, e.g:

You manually position the modules for 1600x1050, then change screen resolution to 1280x1024 and manually adjust their position for this new resolution. When you get back to 1600x1050, the modules will be automatically placed where they were before you switched screen resolutions to 1280x1024. Switch back to 1280x1024 and the modules will reposition themselves accordingly.

So I have to set it manually for each resolution once then WS remembers the setting?
