NextStart Taskbar Size

My Nextstart taskbar size has just doubled . When I go to drag it smaller it won't change. If I drag it larger it grows as it should.

The minimum size of the taskbar is determined by the size of its largest component, i.e.; if you have 32x32 Quick Launch icons and 16x16 task buttons, the startbar will not shrink below 32x32 in order to be able to accomodate the Quick Launch buttons.

The vertical resolution of the startbar, however, is in tasklist rows. In the above example, if your Quick Launch icons were 17x17 instead of 16x16, that single extra pixel would be enough to force a double tasklist row startbar.

Is there some place I can change icon size for Quick Launch items?

Right click a Quick Launch icon and select the new size from the Icon Size sub-menu. :wink:

All the icons next to the start button are 16 x 16. Task bar size is still doubled.

Could also be the size of your taskbar buttons, or the size of the systray.
