This is a problem I've had for quite some time now. I'd like to have the floating workself auto hide much like you can with the Nexus dock.

The only way to it is to have the floating Workshelf set to auto-collapse and have it collapse to frame. This is all well and good but when it collapses I'm left with a horizontal line at where the bottom of the (previously) non-collapsed workshelf.

Note that I have the Shell Base height set to 0 pixels and/or No base when Floating checked. This theoretically should hide everything but it doesn't.

I've had this problem when I had Winstep on my previous PC, and with all the themes I've tried (currently using Aero LowRes)

This is by design. If it weren't for that bit of shelf showing up, you wouldn't be able to uncollapse it after disabling edge bump activation.
