There are 8 desktop modules in total (see my previous post).
By default Winstep Xtreme only displays 3 of them on the screen when it runs for the first time, but you can easilly display the rest by right clicking on any of the desktop modules and opening the 'Desktop Modules' context menu.
Currently there is no way to change the sort order (although I kind of like the idea) but you have to keep in mind that this might not even be necessary:
Winstep Xtreme 'remembers' the position of each desktop module per theme (and screen resolution, by the way), i.e. because desktop modules vary in size and shape with every theme, usually you will want to re-position them manually every time you switch to a different theme for the first time.
The beauty is that you only have to do this once per theme, as Winstep Xtreme will automatically position your modules where they were when you switch to that theme again.
As for the Vista sidebar, none whatsoever. Even Microsoft is dropping it from Windows 7.
You really do not need a container for your desktop modules - and keep in mind you can show and hide them at will via keyboard hotkeys or even mouse bumps on screen edges.
