If i set the nexus dock to auto collapse, i am getting dock artifacts when i click on a dock item. The only way i can get rid of the artifact is to fein a property change in the dock settings. I posted a picture here....http://www.spiderrider.com/nexus_menu_artifact.jpg

Thanks for the picture (pictures usually help a lot) but I'm not quite following the sequence of events. What would be the steps to follow to reproduce this problem here?



Since 8.11 beta 1 is a public beta it's ok to post here.

Basically it's just that if i set the Nexus dock to auto collapse, i am getting the remnants that you see in the picture. At first i thought that it was just happening with the Nexus dock item, but subsequently discovered that it happened whenever i click any dock item. I have tried different themes and have played with all of the options for the dock that i can think of.
I am running vista ultimate and a nvidia gforce 8800 gt graphics card.

I think that i may have discovered what is causing this. I may be a bit premature, but it seems that this only happens if i have "Bounce icon on launch" checked in the dock properties. Unchecking this option seems to have stopped the remnants from appearing.
