Require background using Active Desktop. How can I ensure that NextStart will load correctly using a .jpg for wallpaper? Also, 1. There seem to be a trailing copy of a previous window that NextStart picks up in the menu. 2. How can I save/backup the menu I created? 3. When I restart the menu always wants to be on top? What am I doing incorrectly that would keep the menu on top? Thanks |

Convert JPG wallpaper to BMP. Active Desktop interferes with basically every Windows customization software out there. 1 - Not sure I understand. Maybe video driver problems? Anyway, please post a screenshot of the problem here or send it to support@winstep.net. 2 - In your Global Preferences tab you will find buttons to Backup/Restore your current NextSTART settings. This includes your menus. 3 - Disable the Always on Top feature of the NextSTART Startbar. |

.jpg now is a .bmp Now I would like to remove Active Desktop, however, not keen on the flash of the icons. Now getting a flash of the background instead. Besides removing all icons to the Recycle Bin and remaining other by registery, has anyone encountered a means of completing this (hiding all desktop icons)? Ive got a couple of reg editors that do not hide them either. Will complete a backup, thanks! Also, havent completed a screen shot before so that may be a bit. |
