I'm trying to remove the shorcuts mentioned in my last post, and now the Confirm Item Removal dialog appears BEHIND the subdock I'm trying to delete from. That's problem 1.

Problem 2 is that the confirm dialog defaults to "no". I've never (ever) clicked on "no", because the dialog can only be accessed by deliberately right-clicking the icon and selecting "remove from dock". So if I've gone to all that trouble to bring up the dialog, I don't want to be asked if I'm sure! (I'm ALWAYS sure, which is my biggest problem outside of computers  )

So can we get an option NOT to prompt for subdock removal when the dialog is accessed from the item menu? That would be a great help - I use it rarely, but every time I do, I get frustrated with the prompting.

Sure! Right click the Recycler Module, open Recycler Settings and uncheck 'Confirm File Deletions'. :D

Not exactly. You also get that same prompt if you drag & drop an item into the recycler bin module (or use the DEL key on the Shelf - I don't think keyboard navigation works properly on docks, though).

Is your dock's Z-Order set to 'Always on Top'?

Thanks Jorge... To answer your questions :

- I don't use the recycler module at all. But I've now enabled it long enough to disable the prompting. Thanks so much for that tip!

- Yes, my dock's z-order is "always on top".

I haven't installed the newest release yet, I'm planning a reboot tomorrow afternoon (Monday PM for me, maybe AM for you). I'll let you know if that fixes the display thing.

Ok, don't forget to first upgrade to 8.11 then to download and install 9.3 beta 2 on top of it. :D

I'm going to check Z-Order issues now... Thanks! :D
