I have searched through the forum and the only thing I can find is to go to global preferences and select restore defaults, but that doesn't work for me. Does anyone know how to save the original theme that's installed with WinStep Extreme? Once I tried other themes, I could never get back the original settings. I uninstalled then reinstalled. Now I have the original theme but I'm afraid to try any new themes. Any ideas?

I appreciate any help.

thanks.

I just found out that I can "lock" the module settings. This will help a great deal because that was one of the main things that I hated losing. Sorry to whine so quick... I'm still new at this.

I would still appreciate any answers on how to save the original install theme for 8.11

thanks.

Provided you don't make changes and then SAVE them in the Theme Management tab of either NextSTART or WorkShelf Preferences under the 'Aero Low Res' name, you'll be ok.

But if you really want to make sure, go to the Theme Management of either NextSTART and WorkShelf tab and simply export (button with picture of box with arrows pointing in) the Aero Low Res theme. That way, should you ever do something to change or corrupt the theme, you can always re-import it again.

thank you very much. I did what you said and I feel relieved now. I really like your product and I hope that I can scrape up the money somehow. Don't really know if I can though.

Thank you for telling me how to make sure I don't lose the theme.
