I was wondering if there is a way to always keep the desktop modules "alive". I open many windows and i use ctrl+d alot and that causes the disappearing(hiding) of all desktop modules. The only solution is to always hit the hide/show button on the dock after ctrl+d. The "always on top" from z-order isnt an option cause it makes modules to go above all windows. Is there an other setting somewhere that allows "always on top in background" option that ignores ctrl+d keystrokes?

Hi Burger!

Currently only the Shelf, docks and NextSTART startbar are bought forward when you press WIN+D.

What you can do, if you don't mind pressing another keyboard shortcut immediately after, is to add a 'Bring WorkShelf Forward' Internal Command to a dock or shelf and assign it an hot key. This would bring all WorkShelf items back onto the top of the screen.

For instance, assuming you chose ALT+D as the keyboard shortcut to the internal command, after pressing WIN+D to bring the Desktop forward you would follow it with ALT+D to bring the WorkShelf modules forward.
