Greetings,

first, i am a new user of Winstep Xtreme and purchased it yesterday.

i tried a few competing products but Winstep beat them all in user friendliness and features.

my problem is: i add Wind speed and direction to the weather module but when i change theme and come back the wind data is not saved.
i tried saving the theme itself but no luck.

how do i go about saving my setup?

The theme needs to be re-saved after your changes. Since you say you did that, perhaps you saved it in NextSTART Preferences instead of WorkShelf Preferences?

Because NextSTART and WorkShelf are two independent applications, saving a theme in the Theme Manager tab of WorkShelf Preferences will only save those settings related to WorkShelf (docks, shelf, desktop modules), while saving a theme in NextSTART Preferences will only save those settings related to NextSTART (menus, startbar, hotspot buttons).
