These thumbnails are driving me crazy. They seem to appear out of the blue. I cannot make them disappear with any consistent methods. Sometimes they go away when I raise my cursor above the thumbnail, but sometimes they don't. Sometimes a double-arrow appears when I place my cursor on the icon (not the preview nor on the border of the icon ). Anyway, could someone instruct me on the proper way to handle these previews.

Thanks.

John, the window previews should disappear when you mouse away from them. Anyway, if you don't like the previews you can always disable them in the Taskbar and Systray Preferences tab of NextSTART Preferences.

As for the double arrow, it appears when you mouse over the edge of the startbar to provide a visual cue that dragging that edge will resize the startbar.

As I pointed out in my post, this does not happen with anything close to being consistent! With my cursor well outside the preview, the preview can remain visible.

Again, as I pointed out, I can be well away from the edge of the startbar (on the icon itself) & cannot get rid of the double arrow!

Anyway, this is why these are driving me crazy. I assume you do not observe this behavior. I have no option but to disable the previews.

I've seen the window preview stay up before, but it's really a rare occurence. Anyway, I'll try to fix it for the next release.

As for the double arrow, as I said, it only shows up when something can be resized. Next time it happens try clicking and dragging, to see what is causing it.
