Is it possible that something in the latest release has made double clicking systray icons unreliable? Frequently I double click and nothing happens. I am forced to right-click and choose my option from a context menu.

double clicking almost never works here.
tried to fix it with a clean new install but nothing.

noticed that it has something to do with the workshelf desktop modules being attached to nextstart.
if unattached double clicking does work.
but that for me is not the solution, want them attached.

hope this will be fixed with the next update or
that someone can come up with another useful solution :)

some information:
Winstep Xtreme 9.5
P4 2.8 ghz
2.5 GB ram
xp pro with latest updates

The last Winstep Xtreme release completely changed the way the systray is managed. The plus side is that all the visual glitches are gone (e.g. animated systray icons, fuzzy icons, etc...). The down side is that I'm still trying to accurately emulate the real systray and I am not quite there yet. Instead of double clicking, try tripple clicking for now. Works for me. :D

Works for me too.

Maybe you should call this a "feature"?
