Hi all, my first post here so be gentle

Ok I fully understand the program and how to change each icon picture, either by dragging a pic on top of the icon or by means of the icons properties. But what Id really like to do is change the default Nexus icon to an icon of my own. I cant find anyway to do this, I have even searched through the winstep install folder to find the default icon for it but had no joy. So can anyone tell me how to change this icon, or if it is even possible?

Thx in advance.

Hi Hedrush!

If you really just want to customize the icon (instead of making it go away) just wait a few more days for a new public beta of Nexus.

Currently you can customize it but you can only do so from within a Nexus native theme (so it would be a theme specific icon).

Otherwise you can remove the icon entirelly by right clicking on it -> Appearance & Sounds -> Hide Dock Control Icon. You can also change its color from there.

On the next release you will be able to customize the control icon just like you would any other, i.e. by dropping a PNG, ICO or TIF file into it.

Thanks for the quick reply Jorge.

Yes I realised I could hide the icon entirley but it does have its uses so I would like to keep it there, albeit with my own icon in place.

Not in need of urgent attention so im happy to wait until the next release.

Again thanks for the quick reply and keep up the great work and support its all appreciated. :)
