Yes, I saw that. Cannot use Picasa to get the picture embedded in WS Forum. I don't know where else to host the picture.

The wallpaper is not part of a theme. It is something I found in my Internet travels. The rest in the picture is Zing theme. Actually, I screwed up when printing the screen. I thought I had Wshelf set to the Gel theme which is my favorite for Wshelf.

How's the weather in Cascais ? It might snow here on Saturday. YUK!

A bit rainy and cold, but nothing to write home about, hehe.

Snow? What's that?

john-r, try this site. http://tinypic.com/

I tested a large size image file and it worked. I'm going to start using this instead of the one I used when I posted my Theme because the one I used is very stingy on the size allowed to be hosted to work on a Forum

After you Upload your pic, Copy the link under the heading: IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards', then Paste it into the Message body.

Click Preview to see if it worked, and of course it did, just click away on Submit.

P.S. You don't have to sign-up to use it. I saw that if you sign-up, a few features are added.

Hey, that is all automatic (i.e. the board takes care of all that stuff), so it is really up to you. Look at the bottom of the thread, left bottom corner: for me there is a link that says 'stop watching this topic'. For you, since you're not receiving notifications, it should say 'watch this topic' or something like that.

Otherwise you probably received a notification but ignored it. I *think* that, in such a case, you will not receive any further notifications until you visit the thread again.

How to post Images

Images can be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board, therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server.

You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc.

To display an image in your post, use the following:

Code:
[img]http://image_url[/img]

For instance, typing

Code:
[img]http://www.winstep.net/images/logo.jpg[/img]

will display this:

you may want to make this a forum wide sticky. may want to pull all post without images in them out of this thread and find a new home for them.
