Hi,
from few days im working with the winstep xtreme program and i really like it and enjoy it, but faced one problem so far with it. My problem is, i can't customize the weather to my Country/city which is Sofia - Bulgaria.
Did everything went to weather.com but still nothing
went to http://weather.noaa.gov/ to get the URL, set it On but still nothing ;/
So can ya tell me what am i doing wrong or what do i have to do to run it properly?

Thanks in advance
Grey

Not sure what the problem is? Just right click on the Weather module and select 'Settings'. In the dialog that pops up, select 'Bulgaria' as the country and 'Sofia Observ.' as the city.

It works, I just tried it.

Hello,

I am new to using Nexus and love the program! I pared it with emergeDesktop and my desktop looks great now! :D

Seeing that I can customize pretty much everything to my liking, is there any way to customize the weather module so that if you click on the module, it will link you to weather.com to see the extended forecast in my area? Right now, it links to weather.noaa.gov which only gives current and past conditions.

Another option would be for the module to show the extended forecast when hovering over the icon.

Thanks!!

It does (unless your location only has a METAR code)! When you right click on the Weather module and select 'Settings', what are the current METAR and Weather.com codes for your location?

The METAR code is KEWR and the weather.com code is USNJ0355.

The location is Newark, NJ but i can try setting it to a town near here. I'll try a few different cities and let you know how it goes.

Thanks for the quick response!

When you mouse over the weather icon and hold for a second or so you should get a big balloon tooltip showing the weather information *and* a 5 day weather forecast (i.e. you mouse over an icon and the label pops up immediately, keep the mouse pointer over the icon for a little while more and the label is replaced by a balloon tooltip holding more information about the item you're currently mousing over).

This assuming you didn't disable the balloon tooltips in Preferences, of course.
