Since installing 64bit Windows 7, the 'Recent' shelf in Workshelf is always empty.
I tried deleting it and creating a new 'Recent' shelf but still nothing.

Anyone any ideas?
Thanks
Steve

Looks like Microsoft changed the 'Recent Documents' behavior yet again. I'll look into it.

I assume this has been addressed in a recent update, because I'm not experiencing this problem on a fresh Win7 x64 RC install.

Unhyper, what version of WorkShelf are you running (you can check that out on the About tab of WorkShelf Preferences)?

Steve, I'm typing this while running WSX on Win7 RC Build 7100 x64. The Recent Documents tab contents appear as they should.

WorkShelf has a setting to tell it how many documents it should display in the Recent Documents tab. Perhaps you've set it to zero by mistake?

No - that's set to 25.
This is also 9.05.0781 and the final release version of W7 Pro 64 bit.

Any other settings I might have missed that can effect this??

No.

What about the Recent Documents sub-menu of NextSTART? Does it also show empty? If so, have you checked that the actual Windows Start Menu *does* show something?

After checking the above, as a last resort you can try emptying Recent Documents and see if the WorkShelf Recent Documents tab starts populating from then on - something in the enumeration of the current Recent Documents contents could be causing a error which *might* explain the empty tab.

Yeah!! That was it - 'Store and display recently opened items in the start Menu' was switched off :)
Now that I've switched it on, Workshelf 'Recent' is working fine. (Although, interestingly, there is still no sign of 'Recent' in the Start Menu!)

Sorry to have bothered you with something that wasn't a workshelf problem.

Steve
