Is there any possibility of adding a calendar module in the near future. I'm sure it would be a popular item.

I uploaded a screenshot of a theme I'm working on. I have added a calendar but it had to be a DX object. Imagine this as an Xtreme module :

A Calendar is one of those modules I've been dying to add for a long time. Should be one of the first new modules implemented once the new UI is out of the way. :D

Great idea. I was going to suggest that very thing. I have http://download.cnet.com/TClockEx/3000- ... 37571.html which is a clock and calender together.

I love the clock feature and the ease of the way the calender is accessed. The only shortcomings this program has is that you can't add anything to the calender and there is no alarm, and can't access the CPU through it like Winstep does.

Here is a clickable thumbnail pic of my TClockEx configuration on my Sys Tray. The Font size capabilities is one of the reasons I like it because I don't have to strain my eyes to see the date and time and it also shows the seconds. Image

It took me a while to figure out how to enable TClockEx while using Xtreme, but then I can't use the Context Menu because the Xtreme Sys Tray has to be disabled.

What would be cool is if the calender you're working on had the same sort of clock function on the Sys Tray with the Font features and one click feature to access the calender and size.

Winstep, please try it to get an idea of what I'm talking about. BTW, I think the maker of the program (Dale Nurden) is no longer online, but the program is still going.

P.S. Because of its popularity there are nefarious people out there trying to exploit it. Be careful of fraudulent sites that have similar sounding names that are malware. Use only the link I provided to prevent a malicious download.

That link sends me to "Adult Sex Finder"!

Maybe you need to redo it?

Aside from that, a calendar with the ability to post meetings, etc. to it would be a great thing.

I agree wholeheartedly with gef.

To me it sends me to Cnet. Watch out for malware on your system.

dochert is referring to the thumbnail I posted. dochert, it's ok. It's just a stupid ad because I don't have the paid version.

It's a file-hosting site where you can upload pictures to use for Forums etc. that may not allow direct posting of pics, or for any other reason for someone to link to the pic.

The site has two separate areas, one for adult content and non-adult. I checked the box that it's family-oriented, so I don't know why it showed an adult ad. Sorry about that.

I've used it for several months and others I know have never had any malware from that site.

If you're worried about malware, one of the best out there is Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. http://download.cnet.com/1770-20_4-0.ht ... %2CWebware

It will scan and remove malware from your computer for free with updates included! If you want their Firewall included, then you have to pay for it.

dochert, look at the link in blue that's in the first line I posted. That's where TClockEx is located via CNET. The thumbnail was only to show my configuration large enough so it can be seen since this Forum doesn't allow direct posting of pics.

Gef, you seem to NOT be getting any of my email replies to you (either via the Winstep support address OR my own personal Gmail account).

Hope you get this one so we can resume contact via the Winstep forums until we figure out what is causing the problem. :?

Thanks,

Don't know what is causing this.
Did you receive my email stating that I still have not received my license info yet.

I've received all the 5 or 6 emails you've sent me regarding this and replied to each one of them, even using different email accounts and providers (Winstep, Gmail, Netcabo). I even sent you an email via Wincustomize!

Did you not get ANY of my replies to you? Can you please check your spam folder?

OK Jorge - I've found out what's happening.

My email account is with Virgin.net and the emails, instead of going to Outlook, are stuck in Virginmedia's own email program.

I can read them but I cannot open any attachments although they are in the inbox and not spam.

I had a similar problem a short while ago where I could receive emails bot not send them.

This is all due to VirginMedia messing about with their email program !!

I will try to solve the problem but at least I now know ehat it is.
