currently trying the NeXuS dock 9.8beta3 looking for a replacement for Objectdock, which I really like but is sadly neglected.

1. How do I create subfolders of icon categories or tabs? (tab/subfolder for Game Icons/apps, Utility Icons, Office icons, etc) When I create new item Folder, it wants to point to a specific subdirectory on the harddrive when I would just like to group the launch items categorically in the dock.

2. Possible for multiple docks on the screen? (dock at top for applications, while having dock on left side for quick view and use such as weather, etc without navigating the tabs on top dock).

Having these 2 abilities would make this a must-buy for me!
thanks!

1. It is certainly possible. Right-click on an icon, and click "Insert new sub-dock".

2. I currently have multiple docks too. That might be because I'm using Winstep Xtreme, though. Right-click on your current dock, "Dock and Shelf Management", create new dock.

You're welcome.

Neither "Insert new sub-dock" nor "Dock and Shelf Management" are available to me in the trial version I downloaded. I would prefer just to have the dock abilities I listed without the full Workshelf desktop. Seems redundant to me.
Is it possible, if I purchase the full Winstep, to install only the NeXuS for these abilities, or to have only NeXuS active?

You can disable the start menu/taskbar from Winstep, the shelf can be disabled, the hotspots too, so you only have the docks. Yep, it is possible. It's the main thing I'm using Winstep Xtreme for. Another advantage of Winstep Xtreme is the ability to customize your docks even more with an extensive package of tiles.

Same here, "Insert new sub-dock" nor "Dock and Shelf Management" are not available to me.

Those options are only available in the Nexus version that ships with Winstep Xtreme (Winstep Xtreme is shareware, by the way - I also need to eat. ).
