Hi

First of all, I just wanted to say that I am sooo impressed with this app. I've been using Rocketdock (still great) for a while now but this sets a new standard.

I do have one question though - the default setting gives the start menu on the dock but when I try and use it all the start items are blacked out unless I hover the mouse over them. When I go to the normal start bar, that has the same odd effect too.

I have run the patch to free up the XP themes and am running one called Pristine. I tried the Zune theme and the same thing happened. Normal XP theme and the start bar works fine.

Are there clashes between the dock and non standard XP themes?

Hi, and thanks for the thumbs up! :D

Just to clarify one thing: you're saying that when you click on the Start Button in the Windows taskbar the Start Menu pops up every time with the same graphic glitches you get when you click on the Start Menu icon in the Nexus dock, right?

Yup - with anything other than a standard M$ theme and the dock running with the start menu docklet, either one has graphical glitches. I also get screen refresh glitches on maximised windows when I have the dock set to prevent the window taking the whole screen when maximised...?

I think you have answered your own question. I am not familiar with the patch to free up XP themes, but it's obvious that is the real culprit here, sorry...
