Exactly where did you download Winstep Xtreme from?

Yes, but what URL (link) did you use?

Trying to establish if you indeed downloaded Winstep Xtreme rather than, say, Nexus.

If you go to C:\Program Files\Winstep (or C:\Program Files (x86)\Winstep if you are running a 64 bit version of Windows), don't you see a file called WorkShelf.exe? What happens when you run it?

I'm not sure what your expectations are, but if you see a dock on your screen and some desktop modules/widgets (like the clock and weather monitor) then WorkShelf.exe is already running on your system.

I'm not sure what you did in there, but somehow you managed to mix an installation of the stand-alone Nexus version with Winstep Xtreme. Rather weird...

From the URL you gave me, did you download 9.5 or the 9.12 beta? Also, did you install any updates after?

Anyway, I suggest you manually delete Nexus.exe and then download the Xtreme 9.12 public beta from HERE and re-install on top (i.e.; do NOT uninstall anything before).

Please let me know how it went... :D
