Hi, I purchased the package (start + shelf) and it is really neat, good job. I have a question : what is the "Next style file browser" : I am trying to select the option "Use Next-style file browser" in the nextstart preferences, but it does not work, it always unslects itself. I suppose it is different from what you get when you select "disk" in the start menu, right ? Thanks in advance for your input, Olivier |

It always unselects itself?! Ooops... Maybe a bug? I'll have to look into it. Anyway, that option is to select wether you want to use the Windows common controls to browse for files in NextSTART/WorkShelf or the special NeXT OS look-alike file browser. It is an internal choice, i.e.; only affects file browsing in NextSTART and WorkShelf, as in what pops up when you click the Browse button in the Sounds and Animations Preferences tab, for instance. |
